Partnerships with the worlds greatest mountain bike riders has its advantages. And when it came time to develop the Oasiz Helmet Lazer knew that Brian Lopes was the legend to turn to. Together Lazer and Lopes created a helmet with ample all-mountain-specific coverage a light sub-3000 gram overall weight and a two-part fully customizable fit system. Designed for all-mountain protection the Lazer Oasiz Helmet features the revolutionary Magic Buckle. Abandoning the fidgety traditional clasp system the Magic Buckle is a magnetic clasp system that uses two strong magnets to pull the clasp together and to keep it fastened. Of course this makes the Oasiz easy to fasten with one hand while riding or while wearing full finger gloves. New for 2013 Oasiz Lazer constructed the helmet using its three-piece In-Mold Rigidity Brace System RBS -- a helmet-specific in-molded reinforcement structure that works like a skeleton to improve impact resistance and guarantee higher safety. In addition the Oasizs sides and back come down a bit lower than most helmets offering more coverage at the back of the head for all-mountain riding. But dont assume that this extra protection comes at the price of comfort -- the Oasizs 21 vents usher air through the shell pushing heat out to keep your head cool and dry. Like many of Lazers best helmets the Oasiz uses the Rollsys retention system made popular by the Lazers road line of helmets. The patented Rollsys is a fully integrated mechanism that surrounds the head completely. To dial in the fit simply turn the smooth thumb wheel on top of the helmet. Even better the Oasizs Rollsys tightens symmetrically -- without pressure points -- a feeling enhanced by the Oasizs antimicrobial odor-fighting and temperature-regulating X-static pads that stretch from the forehead back to above the ears. And for the 2013 Oasiz Lazer has also incorporated an adjustable rear head basket. Now you can incrementally dial-in every aspect of the helmets fit.
