	| Aero-enhancement. Is there any accessory item that looks quite so pro as a proper time trial helmet Nevertheless none of us want to be so gauche as to wear one during inappropriate situations like a criterium for instance. But if you regularly race week-long stage races that feature tests against the clock or are in fact a serious triathlete there are few things that will give you such an advantage without overly pinching the pocketbook as a top notch aero helmet. The Bell Javelin Helmet will keep your head practically invisible to the wind earning you precious seconds in your fight against the clock. With decades of making helmets for all sorts of activities behind them Bell know what they e talking about when they come out with advancements on their previous models. For this latest iteration of their speed series Bell have spent time in the wind tunnel and taken feedback from their multitude of sponsored cyclists to create this sleekly aero and well-ventilated design. But for anyone who has experience with aero helmets of the past what will really impress you is just how darn comfortable the Javelin is. That because they have taken into account that helmets need not only have an adjustable circumference but also a different height in terms of where it rests on the occipital lobe. By designing their Twin Axes Gear TAG fit system Bell has made it super easy to find the perfect way to make the Javelin suit just about any head size around as well as up and down. Bell has taken a deep look at the details of an aero time trial helmet and sought ways to make them more user-friendly. The removable race shield for the eyes is a prime example. You can either have the shield on to protect your eyes or if you prefer to wear your own glasses they have designed the internal adjustment system to hit higher on the head to accommodate eyewear. The SeamFlex Ear Flaps have been given an amazingly flexible feel as well to keep you comfortable and make your triathlon transitions a little quicker. Since the hallmark of any helmet is how well it will protect you anyone who wears a Bell helmet will have the benefit of their Fusion In-Mold Microshell which essentially means that the fuselage and the EPS foam are molded together as one piece rather than being two separate entities simply glued together. Bell pioneered this process which ends up making the helmets sturdier and more effective at keeping you safe. And with three strategically positioned vents you will stay cool enough without sacrificing any of the aero advantages. Lightweight webbing and Bell X-Static Antimicrobial padding will micro adjust the fit of the helmet while preventing it from starting to smell like the inside of your high school sports locker. The Cam-lock levers will make it easy to find that final chin strap adjustment from your ears to your jaw. The Bell Javelin Helmet comes in three sizes of Small Medium and Large. Available in the three color combinations of Red/Black White/Silver and Matte Titanium you l be able to find a match to your favorite outfits. It weighs just 380 grams. Twin Axis Gear TAG fit system offers a sung protective fit without pressure points Removable shield and SeamFlex Ear Flaps further enhance aerodynamics X-Static Antimicrobial padding avoids a funky-smelling helmet Channeled ventilation keeps your head cool Item #BEL0029 Learn more
