Grip and protection.
The Freerider Shoes from Five Ten are now available for the little ripper in the family sized just right and made with the same materials as the bigger kid/parent version. This means that Five Tens Stealth Rubber was used for the outsole. Developed for rock climbing shoes this material provides excellent grip making it easy for the little cyclists to keep their feet on the pedals. Its also super durable as it had to originally be tough enough for climbing shoes.
